It instructs us not to be scared since our faith in Him is the only way to overcome fear. This is a constant reminder that God owns everything in the universe, including our life and spirit. I will trust and not be scared, the Bible's emphasis on Jesus' message in Isaiah 12 reads. And He did!! The three young men walked out of the furnace unharmed because their faith was greater than their fear! What Does the Bible Say? They knew that if they disobeyed God's commandment, they would die, but they also knew that if they obeyed God, He would protect them from harm. For example, one of my favorite stories is about the three young men who were thrown into a fiery furnace by Nebuchadnezzar because they would not worship his God or bow down to him (Daniel 3). In the Bible, we see many stories where people faced great fear and overcame it by trusting God to lead them through their difficulties. We all face fear in our lives, and sometimes it's hard to overcome it, but it's possible to put our faith in God first and let it be bigger than our fear.
